A 10.7x zoom that is extremely compact and lightweight
TAMRON, the pioneer of all-in-one zoom lenses, is developing a new high performance and portable zoom lens that covers the wide focal length range from 28mm to 300mm - the TAMRON 28-300mm F/4-7.1 Di III VC VXD (model A074). The compact lens has a filter size of 67mm, a length of only 126mm and a low weight of 610g. This lens is suitable for a variety of shooting situations such as landscapes, snapshots, portraits, sports and travelling. Thanks to this versatility, you can respond to any photo opportunity that presents itself - without changing the lens or changing the distance to the subject.

Outstanding performance over the entire zoom range
The 28-300mm F4-7.1 VC has an optical construction with 20 elements in 13 groups, including one XLD (eXtra Low Dispersion), one LD (Low Dispersion) and three GM (Glass-Moulded Aspherical), which effectively suppresses chromatic aberrations and other aberrations. As an all-in-one zoom lens for mirrorless full-frame cameras, this lens is characterised by first-class image quality. And in the end, it is the image quality that counts.
Fast and smooth shooting with high-speed AF and TAMRON’s proprietary VC
The 28-300mm F4-7.1 VC is equipped with TAMRON’s VXD linear motor focussing mechanism, which enables smooth and fast autofocussing over the entire 10.7x zoom range, while the VC mechanism suppresses camera shake for steady shots. This versatile lens equips you for a wide range of shooting situations.
Compatible with TAMRON Lens Utility™ software
The 28-300mm F4-7.1 VC is compatible with the TAMRON Lens Utility software developed by TAMRON. It allows users to change lens settings, assign functions from the camera and update the firmware if required. In addition, the functions in the mobile version can also be operated via a smartphone app (Android OS) without touching the lens. Users can customise the functions for different photo and video shooting styles, providing a more personalised and impressive shooting experience.
