Once the lens has been received and entered into our system, we will check the specified fault: if the product is covered under warranty, we will repair or align your lens. Otherwise, it will be dealt with as a chargeable repair. If you have any image samples of the problem you are experiencing, please send them along with the equipment.
In the case that the lens was purchased within the EU please remember to include the original warranty card and valid proof of purchase with the lens.
If we determine that the warranty has been voided, we will provide you with an estimate for the cost of repair, detailing the work required and choice of payment methods. Should you wish not to proceed with the repair and would like the equipment returned, the only cost incurred by you would be return postage plus VAT (£10.20 in UK) - there is no charge for refused estimates.
If you deem the repair to be uneconomical, you do have the option to request free disposal of the lens and we may be able to offer you a Service Replacement product.
We encourage payment to be made by debit or credit card to improve turnaround time and customer satisfaction. Our telephone number is given on the estimate in order that you can ring us and proceed with the repair by giving us your card details. If however, you choose to pay by cheque, this requires 8-10 days for payment to clear.
If you return the lens by mail or delivery service, be sure to pack and insure it appropriately. We have enclosed a service form for your convenience, of which we ask you to keep a copy for your files together with proof of delivery.
