Notice about compatibility for Canon EOS R5 / EOS R6 with Tamron lenses

Dear users and potential purchasers of Tamron products.

Thank you for using Tamron products.

We would like to announce you that we have confirmed that some of our lenses do not work properly with the Canon EOS R5 / EOS R6 with Canon “Mount Adapter EF-EOS R”.

Affected models:

• SP 35mm F/1.4 Di USD (Model F045) for Canon

• 17-35mm F/2.8-4 Di OSD (Model A037) for Canon

Symptom:

The Image Stabilizer of the camera cannot be set and also will not function.

We are currently working on the cause of the error and for the solution to this matter. We expect this issue to be resolved very shortly and we will release a firmware update at that time.
