While broadening the zoom range, it maintains a compact, lightweight design and delivers exceptional image quality. In addition, it features improved autofocus performance and has been updated to the latest lens design, enhancing overall operability. It’s also compatible with TAMRON Lens Utility™, allowing you to customize practical functions for both photography and videography.

With the release of the 16-30mm F2.8 G2 ultra wide-angle zoom, the fast G2 trinity, “Daisangen” 1 is now complete, 2 alongside the standard zoom 28-75mm F2.8 G2 (Model A063) and 70-180mm F2.8 G2 (Model A065) telephoto zoom. Die neue Software „TAMRON Lens Utility", wurde von TAMRON speziell zur Konfiguration der eigenen Objektive entwickelt. Nach der Installation des Programms auf einem Computer lassen sich kompatible Objektive über ein Anschlusskabel mit dem Rechner verbinden, um verschiedene Funktionen des Objektivs individuell anpassen oder die Objektiv-Firmware aktualisieren zu können. Mithilfe der persönlichen Konfiguration lässt sich das Objektiv optimal an die jeweilige Aufnahmesituation, zum Beispiel Foto oder Video, anpassen.
