August 15, 2014, Saitama, Japan – Tamron Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Morio Ono), a leading manufacturer of precision optics, has announced that the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) has presented its European Lens 2014-2015 awards to two Tamron lenses; 16-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD MACRO (Model B016) for “European DSLR Zoom Lens 2014-2015” and SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD (Model A011) for “European DSLR Telephoto Zoom Lens 2014-2015.”
Photographer Peter van Bohemen would never have imagined that he would one day go travelling with a 600mm telephoto lens. But he has now done just that twice: He flew to America with the new Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5.6-6.3 Di VC USD in the spring – and then managed to even smuggle it along with him on a family holiday in the summer.
Do you still stick to the old rule of always taking photos standing with your back to the sun? It’s high time to break this habit as quickly as you can! To take really good pictures you actually need to confront the light quite often.
