Notice about compatibility issue with use of the 70-180mm F/2.8 Di III VXD (Model A056) and Sony Alpha 7 V

Please be informed that when using the Sony Alpha 7 V, which was released in Japan on December 19, 2025, with the Tamron 70-180mm F/2.8 Di III VXD (Model A056), the original model, the lens may not operate properly.

[Symptoms and behavior]

When the lens is attached to the camera, “F--” will appear and the lens does not work properly.
