Notice about firmware update for TAMRON lens 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD (Model B061) for CANON RF mount

Thank you very much for your continued support of Tamron products.

On September 30, 2025, we announced on our website of an issue where our 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD lens (Model B061) for Canon was not functioning properly when used with the Canon's EOS R5 Mark II and EOS R1 cameras (Ver. 1.1.1 for the R5 Mark II, Ver. 1.1.2 for the R1).

We are pleased to announce that the issue seen on the lens can now be resolved through a lens firmware update.

Customers can update the firmware of their lenses themselves using TAMRON Lens Utility™ software.
