(President & CEO: Shogo Sakuraba; Headquarters: Saitama City, Japan; “TAMRON”), a leading manufacturer of optics for diverse applications, announces the presentation by the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) of its TIPA Award 2025 to two lenses; 50-300mm F/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD (Model A069) for "BEST SUPERZOOM LENS" and 90mm F/2.8 Di III MACRO VXD (Model F072) for "BEST MACRO LENS". TAMRON has been honored with TIPA Awards for twelve consecutive years.

BEST SUPERZOOM LENS
TAMRON 50-300mm F/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD (Model A069)
The TAMRON 50-300mm F/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD is a compact, lightweight telephoto zoom for full-frame mirrorless cameras. Covering a versatile 50–300mm range, it’s ideal for portraits, wildlife, and travel. Its VXD motor ensures fast, precise autofocus, while VC (Vibration Compensation) keeps handheld shots sharp. The lens excels at close-ups, offering a minimum focus distance of just 22 cm at 50mm and a 1:2 magnification ratio—delivering impressive half-macro capability. It features a 67mm filter size and a USB-C port supporting TAMRON Lens Utility for function customisation and firmware updates. On APS-C cameras, it achieves a powerful 75–450mm equivalent, making it an all-round performer.
