Notice about firmware update for TAMRON lens 150-500mm F/5-6.7 Di III VC VXD (Model A057) for Sony E mount

We are pleased to inform you that a firmware update for the 150-500mm F/5-6.7 Di III VC VXD (Model A057) for Sony E mount, is now available.
The firmware update is available through Sony E mount camera bodies.
Please review the information below.

Improvements
AF performance during zooming will be improved when shooting videos and still images (in AF-C mode)
with Sony α9 III when its focus mode is set to AF-S, DMF or MF, it will support continuous shooting at up to approximately 120 frames per second
Improved AF assist function.
How to Update
The lens firmware can be updated using cameras that support this lens firmware update.

From your camera’s menu screen, please select "Setup" then "Display version."
