Notice about firmware update for TAMRON lens 150-500mm F/5-6.7 Di III VC VXD (Model A057) for Sony E mount

We are pleased to inform you that a firmware update for the 150-500mm F/5-6.7 Di III VC VXD (Model A057) for  Sony E mount, is now available.

The firmware update is available through Sony E mount camera bodies.

Improvements

• AF performance during zooming will be improved when shooting videos and still images (in AF-C mode)

• with Sony α9 III when its focus mode is set to AF-S, DMF or MF, it will support continuous shooting at up to approximately 120 frames per second

• Improved AF assist function.
