5 Year Warranty

5 Year Warranty

Tamron lenses have always been known for their exceptional quality. It is for this reason that Tamron offers a free extended warranty of 5 years if the product is successfully registered within two months of the date of purchase. Once registered, you are entitled to service provision as part of the 5 year warranty in all of the countries listed below.

The 5 year warranty is a voluntary guarantee offered by Tamron that you receive if you register your lens within two months of the date of purchase.

The most important terms & conditions for the extended 5 year warranty are:

  • You purchased the lens after the 01.04.2010.
  • You are the end consumer and resident in the European Union or one of the following countries: Andorra, Gibraltar, Iceland, Norway, Turkey or Ukraine.
  • You have registered within 2 months of the date of purchase.
  • You purchased the lens from a dealer who is located in the European Union or one of the following countries: Andorra, Gibraltar, Iceland, Norway, Turkey or Ukraine.
  • You are the first owner of the lens (the warranty is not transferable).
  • The product is a new lens, which was legally and officially imported into the EU or one of the following countries: Andorra, Gibraltar, Iceland, Norway, Turkey or Ukraine (see also: Grey Imports).
