Tamron lenses are known for their excellent quality. That's why Tamron offers an extended guarantee to 5 years upon successful product registration in Europe within two months. Please, note the following conditions and repair regulations.

Tamron Regulation for Europe

1.  A Tamron lens that was legally imported into the EU includes a European Guarantee card in the local language as shown below. 
   
2. If the European guarantee card or a local guarantee card was missing in the box, please contact the dealer from whom you purchased your lens, especially in the event of a. guarantee repair.
3. Should there be no guarantee card included in the lens package or should the format differ from the example shown below, we recommend returning the lens to the dealer where you bought the lens.
4. Please, note: Tamron is not obligated to repair lenses that were illegally imported into the European Union. (see also: Grey market) 

5-Year Guarantee

The 5-year guarantee is a voluntary guarantee from Intro2020 which requires a registration. The registration can be completed online, by post or by fax.

Online Registration
 When your online registration has been successfully completed, you will automatically receive confirmation by e-mail. If there are any discrepancies during the registration process, you will receive a preliminary notification by e-mail of your “provisional registration”.  In these cases, we will check and correct the information provided about the lens where necessary. Your registration will then either be accepted or rejected within a few days; in each case you will be automatically notified by e-mail.

Please note that the extended guarantee is only available for end consumers resident in the European Union and the lens must have also been purchased from a dealer in the European Union. The extended guarantee is only intended for the original purchaser of the product and is, therefore, not transferable.

 The conditions for the five year guarantee are that:
 - You purchased a lens after the 01.04.2010.
 - You are the end consumer and a resident of the United Kingdom
 - You have registered within 2 months of the purchase date.
 - You have purchased the lens from a dealer in the United Kingdom
 - The product is a new lens that was legally imported into the EU.
