SP 70-300mm VC USD for Sony mount

The high performance SP 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di USD for Sony DSLRs will be available in stores from May 20th, 2011.

The super performance tele-zoom appeals to a broad spectrum of photo enthusiasts and represents a new generation of lenses that fully meet the requirements of 24 Megapixel full format sensors in terms of resolution and optimum illumination of the image field.

The Canon and Nikon mounts of the SP 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di USD have already been acknowledged with several European awards.  After winning the EISA „European Zoom Lens 2010-2011“ the zoom was also awarded with the TIPA Award „Best Entry Level Lens“. Opinions of other photo magazines and end consumers confirm the zoom´s excellent quality.   

Please note that the Sony version does not include an image stabilizer, as most Sony cameras have an integrated stabilizing function.
