The M3VG308 is the fastest Megapixel lens presently available. The F-value of 1.0 at 3mm is achieved with the use of hybrid- aspherical lens elements, a technology which is also used in Tamron mega zoom SLR-lenses. The combination of special LD glass and hybrid- aspherical lens elements results in this wide aperture as well as excellent image quality. 

The focus adjustment ring can be turned 240°, making the focusing on Megapixel cameras very easy and precise.

With a horizontal angle of view of 92,5° (3mm) and 35,4° (8mm), this lens can be used in a wide range of applications.
