The new M118FMXX series was developed by applying the latest knowledge in lens design. The lenses are suitable for megapixel cameras and are very small and compact at the same time.

They feature the same very short minimum object distance as our 23FMXXSP series, so you can achieve very high magnifications ratios. Their remarkably compact size combined with their  short M.O.D. enhance the ease of installation and operation in tight spaces.

A new mechanical design makes the lenses much more robust.  The three lock screw positions for iris and focus not only offer more flexibility, but also serve as a possibility for further fixation.

Apart from  their megapixel resolution these lenses also have low distortion, low vignetting and high transmission values. Of course this series also features the patented state-of-the-art Tamron coating for high performance even in very difficult light situations.

The lenses are suitable for sensors up to 1/1.8”, so also 1/2”, 1/3” or smaller sensors will benefit from the performance of these lenses. All models are only available with manual Iris.
