Tamron Europe GmbH has had its company headquarters in the cathedral city of Cologne for many years. The hub of Tamron´s European business is performed just eyeshot away from the Fühlinger lake in northern Cologne. The spheres of activity include sales, export, marketing, service and distribution performed by apx. 40 employees.

Cologne is ideal for an internationally operating enterprise such as Tamron. Apart from the close-by international airports of Cologne-Bonn and Düsseldorf and the Japanese community in nearby Dusseldorf, it is here where the leading photographic trade fair photokina takes place every two years.

Cologne is home and a favorite photo subject at the same time: the cathedral and the Hohenzollern Bridge are often used as a photographic subject for advertising.
